Senior Finance Manager

Our client is one of the world's leading companies in real estate. The organization is highly professional and is listed on the stock exchange abroad. To support further growth they are seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager with strong technical skills and the ability to lead, manage and develop a team of qualified staff. The position is based in Amsterdam and you will be reporting to the CFO.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial reporting and consolidation for the European portfolio
• Analysis of the monthly financial data: Close liaison and collaboration with Group finance team in HQ in providing review commentary for monthly/quarterly movements in balances, investigating transactions as required
• Provide input, coordination and execution of the annual audit program
• Maintain existing and building new relationships with asset managers, auditors, tax and treasury teams to understand consolidated and stand-alone balances, pro-actively identifying potential breaking points and seek solutions
• Ensuring Group entities are in compliance with statutory reporting and tax requirements and following up with the respective Tax, Accounting and Legal teams
• Gain commercial understanding of the European properties and tenants, assess reasonability of forecast and budgets and provide commentary on actual results and recommendations for improvements or adjustments
• Delivery of pre and post transaction completion balance sheets
• Leadership on the implementation of the upcoming New ERP and One Chart of Accounts program.
• Delivery of the overheads budget program

• Educated to a University degree in Finance, Accounting
• Post-graduate degree in Accounting (RA/ACCA, CA(SA), CPA or similar
• Experience (5+ years) in small/medium sized team management – driving financial reporting accountability, performance, job satisfaction and talent development, People management skills are highly important
• Technically very solid (IFRS/Dutch GAAP)
• Experience in working in a listed environment would be advantageous
• Fluent English

120/140k base + 25% bonus potential + excellent benefits
