For our client, an international leader in the food industry, we are looking for a Commercial Controller who will be a true business partner for the Benelux commercial cluster. This family-owned company is highly succesful and operates in 60 locations worldwide. They offer high quality food ingredients to their customers for more than 100 years. As a Commercial Controller you make sure you understand the numbers and are able to support the business and upper management on a daily basis in taking the right decisions. You will function as a business partner in order to provide improved insights through analysis, reporting, and active communication. You will report to the Regional Finance Director.
Responsibilities
- Support the Commercial leaders in the Benelux region to make the best possible business decisions to be able to drive growth
- Analyze financial data, market trends and performance
- Ensure the highest quality in all reporting
- Develop budget, forecasting and review processes in order to manage the business
- Maintain a robust OPEX control structure
- Act as a single point of contcat for business partners
Requirements
- Educated to a degree in accounting, business, economics or finance
- Several years relevant 5 year experience in a finance function as an all-round financial professional
- Strong background with financial ERP (especially SAP) would be a plus, Excel skills must be very strong
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Well developed stakeholder management skills are a MUST
