Financial Controller

Our client is an iconic FMCG brand, headquartered in Amsterdam. Since their inception the company has made a profound impact on the market they are operating in. To support further growth they are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller. The job is ideal for a candidate who is seeking a second or third career step in an international environment. You are technically solid, have a good understanding of (financial) systems and knowledge of indirect Tax is a plus. Fluent English is a must for this role.

• Provide accurate and timely reporting for consolidation. P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow related purposes
• Monthly reconciliation of payroll-related accounts
• Drive financial integrity, efficiency, and compliance across global key areas such as Payroll, Tax, Treasury, Month/Year-End Close and Balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure a harmonized Balance Sheet and P&L, enabling accurate reporting and strategic decision-making
• Provide consistent, accurate and complete data for Audit purposes
• Contribute to financial process streamlining.

• Educated to a degree in Finance/Economics or Accounting
• Proven background in accounting, solid book keeping skills and working knowledge of (Dutch) Gaap & IFRS
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in IT systems, Tech-savvy
• Ability to analyze complex information and explain it in an understandable way
• Willing and able to work in an multinational environment with colleagues form different nationalities.

- 60K base salary + benefits;
