Group Manager Accounting & Reporting

Our clients is a European leader in its field. The organization employs 4500+ staff, has activities in most major Western- and Southern European countries and is P/E backed. To strengthen their Finance team they are seeking to recruit a Group Manager Accounting & Reporting. You will report into the Group Director Accounting & Reporting. In this role it is important to be able to manage stakeholders who are spread across branches in Europe. The ideal candidate is technically very solid (IFRS, CSRD/ESG) and combines Big4 with a few years corporate experience. This role requires some travel throughout Europe.

• Prepare and produce monthly Group financial reports to track and analyze the company's financial performance.
• Prepare IFRS reports in compliance with international financial reporting standards.
• Produce reports to provide financial information to shareholders
• Actively involved in ad hoc projects such as analysis, process improvement, and IT projects to support business objectives
• Support during internal and external audits
• Analyze variances to budget and forecasts of monthly reports and previous year to identify trends and discrepancies.

• Educated to a University degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics
• Several years experience, a combination of Big4 + relevant experience in a corporate environment is ideal
• Technically strong, up-to-date knowledge of IFRS is a must, experience and/or knowledge of CSRD/ESG is considered a plus
• Strong communicator; with the ability to cooperate closely and convince stakeholders at all levels and spread across Europe
• Fluent English, any other European language (especially French or Spanish) is a plus
• IT savvy and have experience in ERP systems, BI tools and Excel
• Truly international experience, gained through working in an international environment is a plus

115k base (mid-point) + 20% bonus + car allowance + strong benefits
