Group Procurement Analyst

Our client is a European leader in its field (B2B + B2C retail/sales). With activities in all major Western and Southern European markets the organization employs more than 12.000 staff and has revenues of over 5 billion Euro's. The company is P/E backed and has their HQ in the vicinity of Amsterdam (Schiphol Airport). To support further growth they are seeking to recruit a Group Procurement Analyst. In this role you will report to the Group SVP Operations. To be able to succeed and contribute in this role you must be strong with IT systems/data sets. Travelling throughout Europe is part of the role (15% of your time).

• Set up analytical reports and dashboards
• Facilitate analysis of spend and help identify opportunities to achieve cost reductions
• Spend time with the business for support and build strong and effective relationships with internal customers
• Data collection and analysis, visualize analysed complex data sets to create useful information to support fact-based negotiations
• Create and deliver presentations of findings, prepare negotiations, support assortment optimization for internal teams
• Train local staff in use and interpretation of analysis, reports and tools
• Provide data improvement and performance measures

• Educated to a University Degree in Buisness/Procurement/Data analystics
• Minimum of four years relevant working experience
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Sufficient knowledge of SQL and other analytical tools
• Proven analytical skills, including statistics tools to structure, develop and interpret models
• Detail oriented, analytical, and well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize independently
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English is a must. Any other major European language is a plus
