Manager P2P

Our client is one of the most iconic food brands in the Netherlands. Since their inception they have made a major impact on the entire industry in which it operates. Through highly recognizable products and a focus on sustainability, the company has grown significantly in recent years, both in Europe and the US.. To support further growth they are seeking to recruit a Manager P2P. Main objective of the role is to transform their AP operations into a streamlined, automated process that supports growth and financial integrity. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting & Reporting.

 

Job description

  • Ensure all financial transactions within the P2P flow are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Maintain stable DPO/DIO metrics and ensure monthly closing activities are completed with precision.
  • Maintain a robust and transparent audit trail for all AP transactions. Ensure invoice processing is consistent, timely, and compliant with internal controls. Conduct weekly reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for internal and external audits.
  • Lead continuous improvements to strengthen audit readiness.
  • Analyze and improve the end-to-end P2P process, focusing on automation and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting stack for Direct Costs, Work in Progress (WIP), Fixed Assets, and Leases. Provide actionable insights through regular analysis and dashboards.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly to support strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Educated to a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in a finance team leader role, ideally in a midsize/ scaling international environment with multi-market experience.
  • Experience with AP and PO automation tools; knowledge and experience with integrations is a big plus
  • Fluent in English, effective communication with the ability to interacting with employees, managers, and external stakeholders regarding inquiries, issues, and updates.
  • You are able pay close attention to detail while processing large volumes of data and calculations.
  • Strong Excel skills, an analytical mindset with process improvement skills
