Financial Controller NL Business

You will become part of a successful IT services company (SaaS focus), PE backed with strong focus on performance and turnaround to more subscription based business. Growth potential in the Dutch market is high with a great new team to be build. You will directly partner with the FD Netherlands and Chief Accountant, mainly focusing on strong reporting, performance KPI and business insights that help them to grow. 

You will shape the financial operations of both Dutch entities and Group entities accordingly. You are responsible for the full accounting & control processes, ensure accurate reporting and actively contribute to process improvements. Your input ensures clear decision making in the commercial side of the business. We aim to find a candidate who has a strong background in an accountancy firm, with nice to have experience in mid-size scale ups in the IT industry. This means the role requires a lot of hands-on activity and involvement, which is far from a big corporate setup. The entrepreneurial mindset is key. 

Dutch market will be your main playground. 

The ideal nice to haves:

• Experience in monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. 
• Preparation of annual financial statements and coordinate statutory audits with external parties. 
• Regulatory reporting like Intrastat, VAT and others  
• Balance sheet reconciliation knowledge
• Cash-flow analysis and follow up
• Treasury activities with focus on optimal cash and Working Capital positions
• Support group wide activities and collaborate with your international colleagues 

• RA/ACCA/CPA highly preferred
• Deep knowledge of Dutch GAAP / IFRS
• Strong personality, full energy, hands-on and dynamic
