Credit Controller

Our client has been making innovative, high quality tools with a significant emphasis on sustainability for over 300 years. Globally, they are known for their machines that maintain outdoor spaces and they are also at the forefront of the energy transition, targeting consumers and professionals. Also, this client is a manufacturer of construction machinery where they help industrial parties with construction challenges and construction projects. For their Finance team, they are looking for a Credit Controller, reporting to the Manager Credit Control.

As a Credit Controller, you will have a diverse job and will join a solid and professional team. Other points of focus with this position:

• Collaborate with sales and customer departments for all divisions;
• Get in contact with customers to ensure timely payments;
• Set up, record and monitor disputes and payment plans;
• Manage contracts and reconcile payment specifications;
• Collaborate with Service Centers in other countries;
• Lead AR meetings and perform credit limit checks; 
• Request, monitor and process credit limits.

As Credit Controller, you enjoy working together in a team, are proactive, flexible and eager to learn. In addition, you possess;

• An excellent command of the Dutch, English and French languages - both oral and written;
• A bachelor's degree (MBO/HBO), ideally in Accounting, Finance or related;
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in a similar role;
• Solid IT-Skills, experience and affinity with ERP systems;
• Experience with credit management tools is a plus.
